Celeb style- Nishino Kana

Nishino Kana (or Kana Nishino..) is Japanese singer I recently got to know. I cannot believe I finally listened her songs! Her songs are absolutely beautiful-her voice! It's as soft as Ito Yuna or Nana Muscri but her voice is more girly, candy type which more reminds me of Brilliant Green. (But very different than Brilliant Green, too.) Anyways, her style varies a lot. Her main style that I remember is- magazine Popteen style.(which includes Liz Lisa brand that is often featured in Popteen)
Each of her album shows little different concept but overall, her style can be described as
Popteen. It's style comes from such concept "Tokyo gal goes to California".
Anyways here are some more photos of her.

Her style is similar to J-pop queen Amuro Namie, however her overall visual image is more Japanese than Amuro Namie. It's girly, pop-like, and colorful. PRETTY!!

Make sure to check her songs out, too! They are absolutely beautiful!
And of course, here is our suggestion for gals- Kana style.

Celeb Style- Danaka Miho

So I previously introduced one of our favorite Japanese model- Danaka Miho. She is one of the most beautiful asian model I saw so far. Since Miho is the main model of the magazine Non-no, I have been reading non-no since I was in middle school. My favorite thing about Miho is her unique face expression and her short hair- she is tom-boyish, but very cute and sunny. I can explain her as Vitamin C- type of model. There has been her behind-the-scene photos in Non-no and I took a close look at them all the time. Yes, her outfits and styles are just absolutely brilliant on the photo, but her own style outside of photoshoots are still very awesome. Here I introduce her unique casual style.

You get what I meant by Vitamin- C? Above two photos are from her A-Seven brand modeling. I fell into A-Seven becaue of her. Somehow my styles was all inspired by her ever since my middle school years.

These are all from Non-no. Non-no has great coordi all the time and the best thing about them is they always suggest different coordi for the same items. They match up same items- suggesting different ways to wear them. So if you get just three items featured in Non-no, you already have a suggested one-week coordi! It become very handy when I spend one hour deciding what to wear in front of my closet while I have tons of clothes.

Anyways, so you get an idea of her style in magazine? I should say they are typical Non-no styles that has been very popular in Japan. You match up pretty color tights with simple tops, matching up vests with mini dress, boots with denim shorts.. and so on. A lot of times, they are very mild, and safely stylish. Compare to other magazines such as VIVI and PINKY,  they have visually comfortable coordi that anyone can wear.
Okay, enough with introducing magazine, here is some of her other shots.

Animal Prints

It's time to be a little tiger gals!!!! jk jk
Who doesn't love animal prints? I know some of ma ppl who really are not into animal prints. I do understand because I used to be one of you. I think it was because such a strong image it gives..but I prepared some animal print items that will not visually overload your style but still nice to give a point. First thing comes to my mind as I think about animal print is- sexy and punk. Every cultural fashion groups love leopards- Japanese gyaru, punk gals, and girls like me who are in between! Guess what I prepared for Storets!!

Inspiration comes from Zac Posen and Roberto Cavalli- I love those designers!
Have you ever seen Cavalli's collaboration with H&M?
I own one dress from that time. It is chiffon leopard long dress that looks like above images. However, I customed the dress and made it shorter since I am one of those mini size. Maxi dress never works for my height. (berry berry unfortunately)
Anyways, it's amazing how those prints give such a strong feeling. Isn't it overwhelming? They are just gorgeous and so sexy! I know thou it would be nice if those dresses would actually look good on not-so-model types. So here is some different items we suggest- they are casual, punky, and very comfortable- only featured in STORETS!

Khaki

K is for Khaki! (just kidding)
I love khaki pants and it's true that sometime you kind of get scared to wear khaki pants since it makes your butt looking humongous. (at least in my own experience) However, that is old story now.. Khaki is not only for those skinny gals!- especially the items we are about to introduce-they give such a pretty fit and you will be surprised how urban classic look they will add into your outfit! Always match them with high heels because they will be the killer of your outfit- or, try on pretty sneakers with them to be comfy urban chic!

Above is from some magazine- well, actually it is from the web that I do not remember the specific name. (oops) Just attached to show you different items of Khaki. Alexander Wang's collaboration for GAP was just fabulous- I strongly recommend all of you who haven't seen it yet. They are one of the best example of Khaki and yes Alexander Wang is truly amazing designer when it comes to Khaki- I mean, he is amazing in general. *cough
Here is items we suggest from our store!
Little tip for these items- Try them with simple shirts and cardigans.
Simpler, the better.
